Lovely array of shots.

While I waited (and waited and waited) for my E-M5+12-50 kit I ordered the 20/1.7 and 45/1.8, and had the tiny things in hand quite awhile before having a chance to use them. Both proved excellent and coming from the E-series, where forum pleas for small, fast primes went directly into the void that is the universe (okay, the 25/2.8 is fast-adjacent) they were a revelation. So tiny yet so good, and as alternatives to the 12-50--not fast, not even a little--were very handy as the light waned.

Occasionally use them--the 20 is great for flat copy work and the 45 pairs with the 12-32 for hiking--but compared to ten years ago there are uncountable alternatives. The 45 is contemporary WRT focus speed and noise; the 20...you know.

Cheers,

Rick
