It's been interesting to read the comments. Like most lenses, I suppose, many like it, many don't!

Above, I've addressed the "old" issue!

In 2011 I began using my MFT system in travels to the Southern Sierra Nevada. My other lenses then were Panasonic 45mm f/2.8 Macro; Panasonic 7-14mm f/4; Olympus 40-150mm f/4-5.6.

The 20mm was my most used lens, both outdoors, and indoors where I photographed some of the events on the Ranch where I stayed.

Brush Creek, Sequoia National Forest

Sometime later I read of criticisms that the lens slow focused, and was an issue with many people. I found this photograph, where I was easily able to capture the girl as she began to step across the creek.

Not particularly fast moving for sure, but I suppose this is not the lens for action sports! Fortunately, that is not a requirement for me.

Long live the 20mm f/1.7!
