I recently bought a Z6ii with 24-70 F4 and 50 1,8S lenses and the FTZ.

I also still have a D500 and a D750 and F mount lenses: Sigma 24mm 1,4, Tamron 15-30 F2,8, Nikon 35mm 1,8DX , Tamron 35 mm 1,8, Nikon 85 mm1,8 and 2 Tamron telecoms 70-210 F4 and 100-400.

I would like to buy one or two more Z lenses, but to finance this would sell off some other material.

My plan is to keep the D500 for wildlife and potentially sell the D750 and a few FF lenses, such as Tamron 15-30 and 35mm (it's too heavy on my Z so would replace it with the 14-30 F4), maybe the 85 mm as well if I can get aZ 105 2,8.

I know I'll loose on the D750 and lenses, but based on what I see coming out of my Z6ii, I won't be using the D750 anymore. I would rather keep the D500.

It gives me pain to sell good material, but if I don't use it...

What would the forum members do? Any advice welcome

I sold my D750 immediately when I got my Z7. Lenses I have sold with time, and now I only have the 500PF in F mount. There is really not much advice to give. You will loose money by upgrading to Z lenses but get better glass.

What convinced me to sell in most cases is that is better for the environment that someone buys my old lenses instead of new ones, if mine is unused in the cupboard.
