Personally, I think $400 is more than worth it for the extra resolution in the sensor, the EVF, and the LCD.  Being able to quickly switch to APS-C mode with a custom button and still grab 18MP shots is a nice feature.  As for large files, I generally shoot everything in compressed RAW, and the file size (about 42MB) hasn't been a problem.

As for waiting for an A7iv, I tend to think that waiting for the next model doesn't make sense unless it's clearly right around the corner. One would think that the A7iv should be right around the corner at this point, but then I think we've been saying that for a year now...
