First, you need to fix the error in your SD Card. Try performing Chkdsk in CMD. And, try accessing the SD card in disk management utility. You can recover the photos from your formatted SD card as well. To recover those lost photos you may need a photo recovery software. I suggest Stellar or Recoverit to recover your deleted files.

This is really bad (and erroneous) advice.
