Turning off IS on X-S10

I am the new owner of a Fujifilm X-S10 with the 18-55 kit lense and I am trying to turn IS off using the shooting settings in the menu.

In Manual Mode: When I scroll down to IS mode, I only see 2 options - "continuous" and "shooting only". I never see the option to turn IS "off". The owners manual didn't help with this.

In Aperture Priority Mode: I see 4 choices, 2 of which are grayed out. The same 2 as in manual mode, and the same 2 as in manual with "+Motion" added.

In Shutter Priority Mode: Same as Manual Mode.

In Auto Mode: IS Mode is grayed out.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
