Re: “Red Dot Trail” to Great Blue Hill summit

The Blue Hills (on the south edge of the Boston Basin, Massachusetts, USA) are not high. The tallest, Great Blue Hill, which is the terminus of this trail, is only 635 ft or 194 m, but it is within sight of the ocean. Out of proportion to their dimunitive elevation, these granite hills with their glacial scars are rugged and steep, and conserved in one of the largest undeveloped woodland parks so near a US city. This location is near the Canton-Milton border, just a dozen miles or so from downtown Boston. And after this hike, we enjoyed an excellent IPA in the beer garden at Trillium Brewery, just a mile or so away!

Enjoying using my oldish but smallish E2 with the tiny 27 (mk 1) on hikes. Although I do miss the bigger viewfinder and eyecup from the H1.

Sounds like a lovely place to hike Chris yet this time of year it's a bit hot for my taste.  Lovely image
