For me this set-up is Light Weight Monet Bokeh Zone

As a note, I think Monet was more of an "f/16" kind of painter . While maybe Renoir would be a "wide open" kind of guy like you.

Ahh, Renoir is my favorite artist

been to Paris

my favorite Renoir / Monet museum in the world is -- Musée d’Orsay, Paris | Impressionism - gets my gold metal

Louvre gets my silver metal

Awesome!

My own floral tastes gravitate more toward the Dutch painters. Rachel Ruysch in particular. I love the way she used light, lending almost a Chiaroscuro effect to some of her paintings. Very reminiscent of my all-time favorite painter (the Italian) Caravaggio.

Not Caravaggio, or even Ruysch . Just one of my own lame attempts at emulation.

Cool!  Nice shot R2!

Reminds me of my attempts to overpower the sun with my hi sync lights!

I try to do some of this style, but then colors, colors, colors of Renoir
