Maybe f/128. I get the impression he couldn't see very fine detail, particularly at the end of his career.

LOL, I actually debated posting f/128, but figured I’d “modernize” the analogy (not too many folks are familiar with View Cameras any more).  

I’d definitely have to agree with you though!
