The exposures of this camera are remarkable! The dynamic range is wonderful!

the way the camera exposes is what I look for -- which is critical in event photography

and combine the great exposures of the m6II with this Monet 32 lens, and I like this combo as much as anything I've ever owned!

small, light, one handed with my wrist strap!

Now that you've gotten this far (nice pictures BTW), you might try playing with the really cool Focus Bracketing feature (with your f/1.4 flowers).

Lots of different benefits.

Have fun!

Thx R2! I will definitely try Focus Bracketing

For me this set-up is Light Weight Monet Bokeh Zone

Beautiful.

Thx!

A lot of the time I like to use Focus Bracketing so that I can select a single (favorite) focal plane (frame), or maybe stack just a couple of images for a bit more DOF. All the while leaving the backgrounds nice and creamy. Focus bracketing (at 20 FPS) also works really great in breezy conditions!

Will try

As a note, I think Monet was more of an "f/16" kind of painter . While maybe Renoir would be a "wide open" kind of guy like you.

R2

Ahh, Renoir is my favorite artist

been to Paris

my favorite Renoir / Monet museum in the world is -- Musée d’Orsay, Paris | Impressionism - gets my gold metal

Louvre gets my silver metal
