Black or Silver Panasonic Leica DC Summilux 15mm f1.7?

In what seems to be my never ending gear realignment, I recently sold my Black PL15mm, while keeping my Olympus 12mm f2 and Olympus 17mm f1.8. Now that it's gone, I extremely regret that decision and have been looking at new and used PL15s to replace it.

One strange thing I immediately noticed is that black PL15s cost between $100 and $150 more than silver PL15s, new or used. As far as I know, except for the body color, both lenses are identical.  Most mirrorless lenses today are offered in black or silver at no difference in price. So is there a problem with the silver finish, is it difficult to see the aperture numbers on the lens, does the silver finish not wear well, or is black just so much more popular that people are will to pay a much higher price? Any feedback would be appreciated.

My GX9 is a silver one. Shown with an adapted Voigtlander 21mm f3.5 Color-Skopar M=mount lens, which is black with silver trim.
