Too many slightly blurry pictures with Z 7 and Sigma 70-200 Sport?

Hello!

I recently bought my first 70-200, a Sigma 70-200 Sport, camera is Z 7. I wanted to save some money compared to Nikon Z 70-200 S which costs more than twice as much.

After using it for some time I feel like I get quite many slightly blurry pictures in direct sunlight (for example 125mm 1/3000 sec), definitely more than I get with native Z lenses like 24-70 f/4 S or 85mm f/1.8S. Is it possible that the image stabilizer in Sigma lens somehow causes this, or is it most likely just slightly missed focus?

Second question is, what are the recommended Sigma image stabilizer settings for sunny day usage? With high shutter speed image stabilizer could be off (or should?), but then viewfinder image is really shaky. With Dock it's possible to fine tune custom settings, but it's not very clear which options are best. I do mainly portraits, if it matters.

Thanks for any replies!
