some of the insects
1

My native stingless bees have found the succulent.

The lace wing larva is a very good predator.

This must be one of the young ones that hasn't killed enough things to cover itself with.  They keep the shell of the insects and spiders they eat and put them on the hairs on their back as a cover.

The female black face hover fly is so small, she has no trouble hiding from humans in plain sight.

Female black face hover fly.

I have been trying to get a good picture of one hovering but they take so little time between perches that I am not able to get them in frame soon enough.  The very small size makes it so much harder.
