Peak Design Capture Camera Clip - novel use
2

Worked out a new way of using the Peak Design Capture Camera Clip…

The clip is fixed to a neck-strap. I have quite a few straps I can use. Mostly Peak Design ones, but here I’m using the big chunky padded one that came with my Oly 150-400mm. I had to buy two of the PD clip ends to fix to the strap.

So, the camera hangs from the neck strap as usual. But is really easy to quickly unclip when I want to use it in any situation where the strap would get in the way. Very low ground shots, overhead, etc.

I’m finding this really good when all I have with me is one body and lens.

Other times I have a camera bag, the clip is attached directly to that so no need for a neck strap.

The PD red attachment loops simply go round the bolts in-between the 2 plates and tightened appropriately.

Wondering if they will tweak the design in the future so the back part and bolts aren't needed?
