How accurate is R5/R6 Spot/single point AF for wildlife tracking?

Specifically comparing it to the 5D4?

Yes I realize there is no comparison with its Animal Eye AF. But I’ve read that sometimes for animals like moose it’s not that great.

so if one isn’t using animal eye af and resorts to using spot af/single point af, how much difference is there between the R5/6 to a 5D4? I’ve gotten so used to moving the spot af point around and keeping it on the animal’s eye to get it in focus.

Ive also experienced that my 5D4 does OK when animals are fast approaching towards me. How much of a difference is there with the R5/6 when the subject is coming towards you with a supertele?

PS. Keep in mind I don’t really shoot birds. This is mostly a mammal question.

thanks
