inexpensive WA adapter fun...and cat photos!
1

so several months ago I wanted to capture some WA images, mostly due to limited space to move backward to get every thing I wanted in frame.

Unfortunately the 10mm fisheye was way too expensive for this project. And my 12/2.0 WA was manual focus only..

so I bought an inexpensive WA adapter from amazon...

"Opteka 0.43x High Definition Auto Focus Wide Angle Lens with Macro Attachment for Canon, Fuji, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony and Sigma 43mm Threaded Lenses" for $9.95...

I'm happy for the results it gave me, it fit my puposes (and budget) pretty good

Now for sure it's not a WA landscape lens. It's for up close use, and for that it works pretty good. Of course it's not as bright as the 16-50pz I attached it to, but with good light it's AF worked good enough.

and the fish eye effect didn't get in the way...

Both for video, and for closups of my cats

It even has DOF!
