Samyang 14mm: DX or FX?

I have inherited a Nikon D5200 with a kit lens and a fine 14mm Samyang f2.8 ED AS IF UMC lens.

Searching the internet, the specs I have found for the Samyang lens say it is an F-mount full frame lens that can also work fine on aps-c Dx bodies like the D5200 albeit with a 1.5 crop factor (giving an image equivalent to 21mm full frame, right)?

But when I mount this Samyang lens on the D5200 and take a photo the image data says 14mm and I see a wider angle image than when I take the same shot with the kit lens set at 18mm - ie what I am seeing appears to be a 14mm wide angle image with no crop factor?

So I am confused! Is this Samyang 1:2.8 14mm ED AS IF UMC lens for Nikon a full frame lens that also works on F-mount aps-c cameras like the D5200 or a DX (aps-c)-only lens?

Nikon D5 Nikon D5200
