I need bag recommendations.

I’ve been a Lowepro addict for the longest time. I have long loved their bags. And it is still my primary carry for expeditions. But when it comes to urban carry and travel use, it doesn’t look like any of their offerings will meet my needs.

My favorite travel & urban use Lowepro bag has been the Transit 350 AW. I’ve used it for years. I have 2 of them; one is broken and the other is close. But it’s discontinued, and I also want a bag that is just a tad larger. The Transit, even if it weren’t discontinued, meets all my requirements below except the space for a tablet AND a laptop. It was a great bag — medium sized, but could hold a lot and was so comfortable I wouldn’t even notice it for hours on end.

Primary Use Case:

Everyday backpack for laptop, tablet, and camera gear.
Heavy urban use
Not for hiking or expeditions
Primary run-around-town, flying-across-country, etc. bag — will never be used as an overnight clothes carrier, just gear

Non-negotiable Requirements:

15” laptop
12” iPad (yes, BOTH laptop and tablet sleeves)
Pro DSLR (5D Mark IV)
24-105 L
70-200 L
530 EX flash
Storage space for power cords, airpods, passport, wallet, etc.

Nice-to-have, but not required:

Space for a lightweight jacket
Space for a water bottle
Space for another small prime or two in addition to the lenses required
Side access
Outside straps for a tripod
Rain cover

I’ve tried Peak Design’s bags… the Travel Backpack was massively over-engineered, too complicated, and too expensive. Returned. I’ve tried the Everyday Backpack for the last month. I’m actually writing this at the airport en route home from the Caribbean where it has been the perfect size. It can even hold my 150-600. But it is miserably uncomfortable. Just not padded enough thus too uncomfortable while traveling and walking around for a few hours. Also, no matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to get used to or appreciate their dividers. Not a fan.

I don’t know much about other brands, so thought I’d throw this out there and see what people recommend.
