I am using partly his approach now and found it quicker to operate than flatbed or film scanners - particularly with the simple and precise "Essential Film Holder ". So far I had no need to wet mount as yet. An Epson wet mounter came with the scanner and could be used in the same copy-setup for special precision work.

I do agree that scanning with camera delivers much sharper image tiff files. However, I have lots of things to do involved in digitalizing with camera. Anyway, thanks for sharing your experiences.
