Microphone
I’ve been a still photographer for over 40 years, never much of a video shooter. Now my daughter needs a few short video clips for a teaching module she is working on and I have a question. The videos will be short, of 2 to 3 people, at a distance of 4-7 feet, and a lot of moving around. Due to movement and different people moving in and out, both a lavaliere and boom mic has been ruled out. So it seem like the next choice would be a shotgun mic. Research has me down to a Rode NTG, Rode Videomic Pro +, and a Deity D3 Pro. Does anyone have any experience with these three that might lead to select/not select one of these over the others? From what I see they are all pretty much equal. Thanks.
