Help! - AF detection range

I have a technical question regarding AF detection range :

On the spec sheet the af detection range for a Z7 is stated as -1 to +19EV in photo mode, AF-S, ISO 100, f/2.0 lens.

For the Z6II it is stated as -4.5 to +19EV in photo mode, AF-S, ISO 100, f/2.0 lens.

Am I correct in assuming that if I stop the aperture down by 3.5 stops on a Z6II then it will match the low-light sensitivity of the Z7 (i.e -1EV) ?

Stated differently - does it mean that the Z6II can focus in light 3.5EV stops darker than what the Z7 can?
