Re: Size of a DSLR

You were going to dislike it no matter what it is.

Not true.  It's starting to get somewhere near what I would want in a mirrorless camera if I wanted a mirrorless camera.

We all know that. It's that size because pro shooters want a large body. And we don't even know the exact size.

But it flies in the face of all the fellows that raved over the Z7 and Z6 because they could get rid of those huge brick of a DSLR, those dinosaurs,  and not have to lug around all that size and weight.  I knew then as I know now.  When you want the mass to balance out a 70-200 and beyond, and likely even some of those oversized primes, when you start having to add all those buttons and dials so as not to spend your time menu diving, you're back to what I'm shooting with now, give or take a little.  Hypocritical.

A Canon G5 and a bit of Nikon gear.
I enjoy my Nikon gear. But as has been pointed out to me "it’s a declining, decaying system based upon ancient technology" Funny that, never noticed.
