For action. I'm afraid my humble A9 isn't better than the A1 so I give first to A1. Next A9ii and then A9. Yes, the A9 with it's 1/160 readout easily beats the R5 and R6. No rolling shutter, no blackout/double frames. For keeping fast action those are important factors to me. The fact the R5 is priced way higher than the A9 makes the 4 year old with 200-600 so much more affordable for wildlife photos. R5 wins video, cropping, sitting birds eye AF and landscape over A9

(And yes, I have shot about the same with R5 /500mm f4 and R6 100/500 as the youtuber you refer to has with the A1 /200-600 but nothing in the wide end)

In the end you'll be hard pressed to see a difference between pictures from either camera

(Note. I have tried a Z6 with 70-200 too and that was really awkward)
