Bummer. If you watched the video the Sony suffers from severe focus breathing and often isn't much longer than 500mm effectively. The Sony is longer but not by much.

But the difference between 100mm and 200m is great, and 200mm is too long in a many cases (not my words, watch the video from the professional photographer who points it out).

Anyway, only Canon can track birds with eye AF during video.  Same with dogs, deer, some insects, and all kinds of other animals.
