Newbie's questions regarding a Vivitar lens

Hi everyone !

As written in title, I have a very basic question regarding a lens I'm considering buying.

I have a Canon FTB QL. The lens in question is a Vivitar 28-70 mm Macro focusing zoom, as shown in the seller page below :

https://www.label-emmaus.co/fr/objectif-vivitar-28-70-mm-20110062/

I heard that this lens had been adapted for several mounts brands (Olympus OM, Pentax, Minolta, Canon FD...).

I can't figure out whether the lens shown in the seller's page is Canon FD compatible or not. Any idea ?

I also consider using it for both macro and non macro photography.

Based on what I read in the places below, it seems usable in both situations.

Any opinion regarding the use of macro lenses for non macro compositions ?

Thanks in advance for your time folks
