Hi everyone,

Looking for a cheap camera with good video autofocus, don’t mind buying used. Mostly for run and gun.

Sensors MFT or larger preferred. Thanks.

Before the 80D came the 70D. It also has DPAF. It'e even cheaper used. No 4K.

If you do not want 4K Canon's own SL2 and SL3 offer DPAF in 1080p. You can get them for well less than $1,000. Canon also has some MILC's that feature very good AF, just look around a bit.

Same goes for Nikon: Z50 has outstanding video AF even in 4K. I own one and video output is solid. Less than $1,000 new.

Sony has a huge selection of different A6XXX models that feature very good AF.

In the Fuji camp you'll want to search for X-T30 or X-T3. Both of them can be bought used or new for a good price. Before those models their video AF was iffy.

In the Olympus camp try to look for a used EM1 Mark II. M43 sensor but, unlike Panasonic, has a more sophisticated phase detect AF array. It records 4K and can be bought right now for less than 1,000.
