How do I convert a raw to a jpeg in Apple Photos?

Hi,

I’ve shot jpegs for nearly 20 years. Part of the reason for this is that it’s easy, and part of the reason is that I’ve tried raw a couple of times and found it just too much - lots of controls, most of them almost too small to see. Yesterday, I had another go, using Apple Photos on my iMac. I chose one picture and got a very satisfactory result - discovered today though, that the picture in my collection in Photos is still a raw file! Apparently, I have to “export” it as a jpeg. But where to? I want it to stay in Photos and just be a jpeg instead of a raw file, I don’t want to export it to any of the places in the options list when I click on ‘export’. Can anyone advise? Thank you!
