You can check the lists at BHPhoto, Amazon, BCN. I have checked two major hubs of authorized Olympus camera sellers.

No, but it does tell you relative to other models how popular in sales the model is. You can connect the dots from there.
No, there is no data in this statement. Popularity in one market at one finite point in time does not yield global sales units. If you are in America market that is not even top 3 for Olympus.

Look up. IT's very simple- they simply list what's selling best by them. Those are big stores, they aren't small.

Olympus management doesn’t seem very trusty particularly after the accounting scandal and the fact they were trying to sell Olympus imaging since 2012 after denying that, after having quarter after quarter of Olympus imaging loses
So I wouldn’t take that statement as reliable and kore as company PR the same thing happened with the Olympus 4/3 e-5 - didn’t sell well but they sure said it was doing well

When I said "Olympus wouldn't sell" we are talking about the Olympus Imaging division. Olympus several times denied this was happening. Pretty much everyone in this forum knows that! Biggest irony is they were looking to sell the division since 2012!
Olympus has many thousand employees. Where did Masanori Sako say EM1X had anything other than "it is selling pretty well"?

Get first full year data too for all markets, not smaller ones. In HK I was 46th on waiting list for first EM1X and waited 13 weeks for second EM1X.

No, this is quite simple actually. You know some big authorized dealers/hubs in the area, and you have talked to some of the management because you have a friendly relationship with them.
No names, no sources, no data. You can make up anything you like, it does make it real data.
They simply tell you the EM1X is simply not selling. in contrast the EM5MKIII sold several already within the first two weeks.

Tracked who? How? You have knowledge of every store in every market with every unit sale every day for 12 months?
Another big hint the EM1X is simply not moving is when Olympus USA did the offer of buying 3 pro expensive lenses and you get an EM1MKIII *or* an EM1X free.
This interview is reflection on first year on market. Promo happened later and required huge spend to get camera. Margin on lenses paid for cameras.
Why would the EM1X being the significantly more expensive camera be bundled like that? You connect all the dots with this data.

finally keep in mind generally speaking new models sell well during the first few weeks due to lent up demand that want them. It’s in the coMing months you get how it’s really doing.

They told us Olympus Imaging would never sell- remember. I don't think much of any company is going to come forward with sales particularly the they could no longer need to put out financial reports.

It seems that you are missing the point of the data we have. You dont' need exact sales to know something is just not selling well. Once again- and I re-iterate, I haven't tracked once the price came down. Maybe it's selling finally now.

3. This interview was before any price reduction. First price reduction occurred at 18m on market. This interview was at 12m. Whether or not it is moving volume now is unknown. Unless you have inside data leaked on volume and pricing?
