I agree with you about the focus bracketing but honestly its hard to take this video seriously. As much as I love Chris and Jordan's stuff, they went out of their way to mention how much better the Z7II is at time lapse than the Sony and that is soooo wrong. I commented on the video when it came out but probably not a lot of viewers saw it.

One of the reasons I'm transitioning to Sony from Nikon is due to Nikons crappy time lapse implementation.

If anyone is curious, here is my comment on the video explaining why I dislike the Nikon for time lapse:

I really enjoy Chris and Jordan's videos for entertainment, but they just don't seem to like Sony. I don't mean in a malicious sense, but they clearly prefer the handling of other brands and seem to ding Sony cameras in their content for odd things.

For example, this video tells the viewer that the Z7II is substantially cheaper than the A7RIV and has a much better rear LCD. But the two cameras are the same price now (MSRP only matters for new releases), and they literally tested a discontinued version of the A7RIV when making LCD comments.

I still watch every video (even for stuff I don't ever intend to buy), but we know that Fuji is going to be praised for their bodies while Sony is going to get grudging wins at best.

The dislike of Sony is getting really ridiculous and tiresome, I really do not understand why so many feel the urgent need to pick everything Sony do apart, while praising everything Canon and Nikon dos. Get over it, move on, it’s a childish fanboyish behaviour, you should not think we where talking about grown ups..

What worse is allot of what they state are directly false, all from DR, price etc. the Sony is priced about the same and then we don’t look at the whole picture you need to take the price of lenses, batteries into it as it’s a system!

it certainly dos not help they are using a discontinued version!

This was a rigged review where the end result where already decided and with the sole purpose of making Nikon look good, or the Sony look less good.

Well Sony is kind of the new kid on the block that came in swinging hard but in the long term, i think Sony has more staying power than the rest of them. Maybe part of it is how conservative they are with 'new' tech seeing how the A1's sensor tech isn't exactly new when it came out.

What did you expect that they used their 100mp newly invented global shutter sensor, they also need to actually sell it and make profit at some point, the newest invented sensor are to expensive for a $6000/€7000 camera and they actually need to get investment back from previous invented sensor technology.

MicroLED where also invented a long time ago but first been used recently, even that isn’t the newest thing. Most screens still uses OLED a very Old technology that we have been using the past 14 years that where invented i think back in the 60’ies.
