To add to the other replies to your question, I have a number of Panasonic/Olympus bodies ranging from GM1 to EM1II/G9 for the reason that I can decide how large/heavy a camera body/lens combination I want to use for a particular day. I suffer from an autoimmune conditon which not only can affect my mobility but has also damaged my shoulders and weakened my wrists. With the condition fluctuating I'm not always able to carry my larger camera bodies/lens combinations so the smaller ones allow me to go out photographing when I'm not feeling that good and can't cope with the increased weight of the others. I originally avoided the larger bodies because of the increased weight but the improved/added functionality of them has led me to purchasing subsequently when I got a good price secondhand. For that matter all my kit is secondhand.

I sometimes take out two body/lens combinations if I want to use a uwa and a decent zoom range. Yes I coud just take the two lenses and change when required but its easier to have the combination available. In those circumstances I often take a smaller body as the 2nd camera to minimise weight. The less overall weight of a camera/lens combination on some days is better for me if my wrists are feeling weak.

This works for me and allows me to continue shooting.
