The tailless European robin and others posing

This little bird shows no sign yet of growing a new tail, I guess if it is to happen it will be at the next moult. It is still flourishing .

A juvenile robin, not long left the nest. It will start getting the traditional robin colours as it moults.

And a male greenfinch

An adult blue tit, starting to recover condition after the trials and tribulations of raising the chicks.

A juvenile European goldfinch, again the traditional colours come when the bird starts moulting.

And an adult.

Growing old is inevitable; growing up, however, is optional.
And I have opted out as my intention is to die young as late as possible.
