Wellcome to the Dpreview forums.

What is the best size/model of shoe? The one that comfortably fits my feet. Must be a new, fashion model? No. For two decades I have been wearing black shoes of a single model, and never felt compelled to change (fortunately the factory that makes these shoes is a traditional and solid one) But that is me. My son follows the fashion trends, and is happy with whatever is new.

What is a good camera? The one that answers my needs/likings. Age does not remove good points. I bought a Canon G15 in 2013, and never outgrew it. The camera is still working without flaws, but age (always age, my bones say) made me think about a substitute. After looking around for cameras of this kind, Canon and other brands, bought a used G16 in as-new condition. I read that G16 focus is faster than G15's. Never noticed, I am slower than both.

Enjoy your camera. My first one, a gift from my father in 1960, was a well used french Kinax III, a bellows camera entirely mechanic, slow to use, digesting 620 size films of 12 expositions. It was my entrance door to photography. I miss it.

Very nice camera and hope to see you join the CTF- mini-challenges.
