Why do you need so many cameras all in the same format?

This is a serious question.

Tedolph

Because one camera is unlikely to appeal to a wide enough audience.

How does that work if the audience is only one person?

Tedolph

Well, for me it works like this.

I have my E-M1 III for wildlife and sports, mated to either the 40-150 f/2.8 or PL 100-400.

I have the E-M5 III for all bugs and flowers, all around travel, and other stuff, mated with either the 14-150, 8mm fisheye, and 75-300. Nice compact, capable kit.

I have the E-M10 IV as my grab and go, toss it in the car kit with the 14-42 EZ and 40-150 plastic fantastic. Cheap, worry free, and more capable than it should be….and, did I mention, cheap

Finally I have my Pen F for days dedicated to black and white and JPEGs, a heavenly match with the 12-45 f/4.

could I get along with fewer, sure… But I also have a half dozen guitars for different types of music, and a dozen or so fishing rods for different types of fish.
