Video lens recommendation for Sony E mount

I want to shoot a bunch of videos on my A6400 and the following are the constraints.

Looking for a recommendation and the reasoning.

1) Video - Low light / Uneven light - Indoors - Evening - Need a fast lens

2) A bunch of performers who have to be in focus - I will probably need to shoot at F5.6 to F11 too keep all of them in focus. I don't want bokeh.

3) I cant get too close so wide lenses are not an option. 35mm > 50mm < 85mm is the usable range.

I know the situation is not ideal. But I wanna get it as best as I can. This is not professional work.

Couple of related questions

1) Does it make sense to buy a fast lens if I'm gonna shoot at F5.6 ? i.e Does letting in more light into the lens make a difference if the aperture setting on the camera is constrained ?

2) If I am going to shoot videos at F5.6 - F11 and have more depth in focus, do I need an autofocus lens ? Or do I save a couple of bucks on a manual focus lens
