This issue makes me very sad also. It makes my 11-22 almost unusable for me -- I hate checking shutter speed every time I use this lens. Canon has at least two options to resolve this issue via firmware: implement EFCS or setting for automatic E-Shutter for specific lens + SS combinations. I don't expect to get any of them...

I hear you. I get that you want your images to be pixel sharp when using this lens. If it’s any comfort, in my experience (and this appears to be supported by the test results I’ve seen posted), this lens is likely affected far less by the shutter shock issue vs. the other EF-M zooms. This is likely due to its wider focal length. However, there is likely still some detectable effect at the tele end.

Yep, I was very surprised actually seeing this problem myself on my own photos. Then I fond on this forum that this is a "known issue".

What to do? I’m still trying to get my head around this issue to come up with an acceptable solution.

Right now my “solution” consists of going exclusively with primes on this body 😂

Unfortunately, the Sigma 16mm is pushing the limit of acceptably large/heavy for this system.

Exactly, I use only primes and I always try to avoid using 11-22. I am very satisfied with 16, 22, 32 an 56 primes that I have, but I lost some convenience of the zoom. I have to change lenses often and I didn't find yet a convenient bag (sling-style) for all my gear that could help me changing lenses.
