Random white dots

I've had my A7III for a couple of years now,  had to change the shutter when it got stuck at around 105k shutters.  Its been going great so far, but I had a studio shoot a few days ago and while editing photos I noticed several random white dots.  they are random in that they don't appear in the same spot on every picture....and when I view them close up they are just white dots.  I can photo shop them out using heal/clone but what the heck? Is this what they mean by a hot or stuck pixel?  But I thought when that happens its always the same pixels and not random ones?

I'm going to check older shoots to see if I missed it before, but they appear like tiny white dots if you're zoomed out
