Re: How to improve my Andromeda image?

Thanks David,

I sadly cannot post a bigger image, my internet connection is too poor where I currently am. With the moon as bright as it is here, only Alpheratz is clearly visible with the naked eye. Taking images with the camera might allow me to visualize/locate delta to the bottom left, and then placing delta in the top right of my frame means i should find Mirach. Following your tips would then have me place Mirach at the bottom right an andromeda should be in my FOV. I was thinking: test shots with 3s exposure at 1600 ISO and f2.8 should allow me to see andromeda, even on a moonlight night, correct?

Thanks for the tips.
