Thanks for that. I'm curious how you handle and store your bare drives between making images, and do you have particular preferences for HDDs or do you just look for good deals?

I put the drives back in the antistatic bags they came in, update a card that says what PC was backed up, and what date, put them in padded mailing envelopes and secure them in two reasonably safe places.

I like a variety of brands in case any one in particular has a hidden fault; some of my drives are quite old, but MRF images still verify OK.
