Hi all, I no longer have access to D drive on my laptop. {access removed by employer for all users all laptops}, is there another way to get pics from my D750 to my laptop?

I am guessing they don't want you to be able to add or remove data from company owned laptops. As someone who works in I.T., I agree with them. That's is one of the number one ways to get malware or data theft.

You may be able to transfer images wirelessly, but that is also probably frowned upon. I wouldn't want to endanger your employment by trying to circumvent I.T. Controls.

Probably time to buy your own computer for image editing.

I've traveled extensively for work, on the road and overseas for weeks at a time, just the sort of trips you'd want to backup photos from the camera a couple of times.  Carrying two computers would suck.

I also regularly needed to develop / edit / email / post work-related photos for clients and co-workers while on projects.

If the company laptop had been secured against camera connections, I would have had to 'fix' it somehow.

At home and the office though, no problem.  I never put personal items on the work computer, nor vice versa.
