Personally, I prefer the X-T2 (or X-T20)) over the newer X-T30. Besides the ergonomic and other advantages of the larger X-T2 body, I don’t much care for the 30’s lack of customizable buttons or the stupid Q button. I also prefer the older X-Trams III sensor cameras for high ISO shooting, which I tend to go a lot of I find the X-T2/X-T20 AF more than adequate for my purposes.

Yeah, the X-Trans III sensor is really great. The ergonomics of the X-T2 over the X-T30 is way better. Weight is not an issue for me. The only problem I found is operation wise, X-T2 is slower, like when opening the camera to grab a quick shot.

Does the X-T2 have a performance boost feature? It might be in a power management menu, within setup.

You need the battery grip to unlock boost mode on the XT2. Stupid, I know.
