*** Mini-Challenge #636: Photo Outtakes ***
2

I'm always happy when a photo shoot results in the planned outcome. But sometimes I run across unexpected gems in the outtakes. These "bloopers" are often the most memorable shots!

Please share your favorite photographic outtakes: model mischief, photo bombs, unfortunate positioning, bad timing, hidden details, etc. And if you have both the "planned" shot and the "blooper," that would be great to see too!

The basic rules.

  1. Maximum 3 Entries and/or as many exhibits as you wish. No more than 10 images per post.
  2. No images may violate DPReview's family-friendly policies.
  3. Photos must have been taken by you and may have been taken on any device.
  4. No restrictions on post processing or composite images.
  5. Please state in header whether image is an entry or exhibit. Non-labelled examples will be assumed to be exhibits.
  6. Post all images using the "Reply to Thread" button below this post.
  7. Awards: First, Second and Third places for entries and Honorable Mentions for other entries and exhibits. There is always the possibilities of a coveted Dishonorable Mention or two.

Grand Prize: The first place winner has the "privilege" of creating and hosting the next Challenge and has 3 days to begin it. The winner can respond to the host with a forum post or PM. If the winner does not respond in 3 days, or declines to host, the second place winner becomes the next host. If the second place winner declines to host, the third place winner becomes the next host.

Samples:

Just another day taking pics of Geysir in training. (Note these are also technical bloopers, since I accidentally left a polarizer filter on my camera so the ISO was super high.)

Then spring hormones kick in!

Horses being horses don't wait to do their business:

And then a WTH moment I didn't see when taking the shot initially. My friends were doing a photo shoot with Geysir up on the hill, and I decided to take a few snaps from the parking area below. It was getting dark so I couldn't really see what I was shooting, but I was NOT expecting bush tossing!

The bush was apparently offensive

Have fun!

Cathy
