Please forgive me.

I enjoy using Fuji lenses. I like to autofocus. The lenses I use, between 23 and 35, are lite and fast enough.

That being said, I just purchased a used T3 that came with a Canon adapter. Don’t remember the brand.Sorry. There is some glass in the adapter that cancels the crop factor so a 50mm lens will be 50mm. The Canon lens may even autofocus. May sell the adapter or explore why people on this forum like adapting lenses.

There are several reasons people adapt lenses.

  1. To fill gaps in Fuji's lineup. This is mostly for modern lenses with autofocus and using a smart adapter.
  2. To use lenses already owned or to save money. Similar to above with autofocus and smart adapters.
  3. To use vintage lenses. This is usually for something the lens brings that Fuji's lenses don't. This is often referred to as "character". Fuji glass is excellent, but some find it too 'perfect'.
  4. Manual focus is more fun for some.
  5. Some combination of the above.
