Choosing a telephoto zoom for my R6 / R5

I've decided to unload my 7D Mark II and Eos R and replace both with a single camera. I'm still mulling whether the R6 is sufficient or if I stretch for the R5, but that's another discussion.

Switching to full frame, I need to ditch the old EF-S 55-250 STM I've been using on the 7DII for sports for a FF telephoto zoom.  I'm going to be somewhat budget sensitive, especially if I reach for the R5, but I would value your opinions on the best lens for shooting primarily my kids' sports, which range from outdoor swim, tennis and soccer to indoor swim, fencing and basketball.

I'm considering:

1. Canon EF 70-300 f/4-5.6 IS II USM

2. Tamron SP 70-200 f/2.8 Di VC UD G2

3. Canon RF 70-200 f/4 IS USM

#1 would likely be all I could afford to put on the R5 for now. I imagine it would do fine for the outdoor sports, but would struggle indoors. I do like the extra 100mm of reach.

#2 and #3 open up with the R6 purchase.  #2 I worry about compatibility issues because it's a third party grand, #3 I worry is too slow for indoors.  Also, is reach an issue at 200mm?

Which do you think is my best option? Should I be considering anything else?
