X-Pro 3 / X100v / X100f 'Full Screen' OVF

Hi all,

I recently acquired a second-hand Fujifilm X10 and - despite its limitations - have found it a thoroughly enjoyable camera to use.

One thing I've enjoyed particularly is the distraction-free OVF, which reminded me a lot of shooting on old 35mm point and shoots. While I realise there are very obvious benefits to having indicators visible while shooting, I just wondered if it's possible to have a similar 'distraction free' OVF experience with the more recent X-Pro 3 or X100v/f.

Having read the manuals, the X-Pro 3 and X100v both seem to have 'full screen' OVF modes which seem to suggest this is possible, but I was wondering if these are just equivalent to my XQ2's 'No Indicator' mode, which has an indicator-free EVF for framing, but shows the focus points/exposure info once the shutter is half pressed (which, although obviously useful, isn't what I want here).

Of course, I could just mount an old external viewfinder on either camera and get a similar distraction-free effect, but being able to do it without the additional accessory would be great.

Many thanks,

Will
