Glad you liked the images, Lokatz. What often happens, is that the mammals are way too close. Moreover the shallower DOF one gets on a full frame sensor opens up some interesting creative possibilities.

Yes, that can be a real challenge: the birds are too far away and the larger mammals too close.  I try to solve it by carrying two bodies, one with a medium and one with a long tele.

the flip side is the FF sensor bodies are way out of reach. 😊

Well, a Z5 or Z6 costs no more than your D500 used to.
