This is a really good point. Not sure why it didn't occur to me sooner, but yeah, kind of defeats the whole point of my post. Thanks for this! I don't think 90% of the people who commented actually read what I wrote and just wanted to give their 2 cents about equivalence. So thank you!

I've just been looking at a You Tube video about why arguments never succeed in changing anyone's mind. Thanks for the counter example.
