Was the print done at the same time as the negative was developed ? The negative seems to be very magenta, as if the dyes have faded at different rates.

Yes, the print was done at the same time as the negative was developed.  But the development was delayed about 10 days after shooting.  The film was in the camera for about 20 days until I got to Sydney, Australia.
