Yeah, a small dark aperture yet very good zoom with a smaller zoom range and fast AF. That would be great. 28-60mm f/5.6 IS USM, tack sharp wide open. Take my money!

Yep.  Pretty much what I had in mind, just like the Sony.  Also Nikons 24-50 is a cute little bugger if you like mostly shooting wide.
