Sure, and I indicated that I might be a 'difficult' customer.

But, look at it like this; The tree shot is a pretty simple photograph - would you be ok with the blurring of the left hand tree if it were your lens?

[Forget about the technical stuff, this is something I am seeing on a consistent basis around the 35mm F/L. Other F/L's are not exhibiting this. There is a limit to how many examples I can post, but I will put up another].
