+1 Agree.

Second choice would be the adapted Canon 50mm STM.

The photog was shooting into the sun, so no N/D would be needed, even with the M50.

The subject was framed from hip to above her head. Working distance with a longer focal length (as much as 150mm+ as suggested) would be much too great to be practical/comfortable (IME).

Bokeh of even the nearby/closer objects in the background is smooth. A telltale of a large-aperture lens. Most telephotos OTOH would turn this into very “nervous” bokeh.

Personally I like the idea of going with a classic “portrait” class of lens here. Great suggestion Nnowak.
